Ross Mt Whitney 21" Vintage Mountain Bike Shimano Deore Fully Chromed in Stony Brook, New York

Vintage Ross Mt Whitney mountain bike used. This Ross has made it through the years in terrific shape. The chrome still shines and the bike is a great example of the Mountain bike that started it all. Frame is all TiG wielded construction using Ishiwata 4130 steel tube sets. This was Ross' flagship mountain bike for the 1985 model year and featured their signature all chrome finish with Tange Champion sloping crown steel fork, a reinforced, gusseted down tube/head tube juncture and their mirror like chrome finish.
The Bike is all original as Ross sold it in 1985. All components function and the finish is excellent through-out. All decals are intact. Non-OEM additions to this bike include the Vetta rear rack, Mickey rear tire and handlebar grips.
I am the original owner and the bicycle has always been stored indoors. This Bicycle is a rare find for the discerning Mountain bike collector
